Volkswagen Cross Coupe GTE Concept
Volkswagen will be showing off at the Detroit Auto Show by relying on the latest concept called Volkswagen Cross Coupe GTE. This model was similar to CrossBlue Concept shown at the same exhibition last year, or CrossBlue Coupe appears at the LA Auto Show.
Although similar but not identical. The Volkswagen Cross Coupe GTE is translating the latest VW crossover design with a higher ground clearance. Its face looks clean, with the main light consists of 4 LEDs that attach to the grille. A turn signal is also being a part of, resembles the grill lines.
Another characteristic is the high roof, large C-pillar, trapezoidal rear lights, 22-inch wheels that make the appearance more masculine and muscular. Console and the dashboard looks minimalist, in accordance with the present trend. Fully digital instrument panel, similar to that found in the third generation of the Audi TT or VW Passat European version.
The Volkswagen Cross Coupe GTE is built on the MQB platform, equipped with hybrid technology that combines gasoline 3.6L VR6 engine with a power of 276 to and torque of 349 NM. As well as two electric motors powered 54 teak and 114 ticks. When combined, this car reaches power of 355 to and torque of 379 NM, making this car can go from 0-100 kph in 6 seconds. Reaches a maximum speed of 130 kph.
The driver can select the profile as on-road driving, off-road, sports, or snow. If you want to use the electric engine alone, the driver can also set the character to the E-Mode, Hybrid, GTE, and off-road. E-Mode only uses a fraction of the battery, drove up to 32 miles.
