Fly Geyser, Unique Hot Shower with Rainbow Colored
Fly Geyser is one of the most stunning natural attractions in Nevada, although it seems there are many locals who do not know its existence.
The picture above may seem foreign and strange to you. This is a picture of Fly Ranch Geyser or better known as Fly Geyser. This unique object is a rainbow-colored geysers geothermal (hot spring showers) located in Washoe County, Nevada. Its location is approximately 32 miles from Gerlach.
Fly Geyser is one of the most stunning natural attractions in Nevada, although it seems there are many locals who do not know its existence. Height of only 1.5 meters, but if measured along the existing mound beneath the geyser has a total height of 3.7 meters.
Fly Geyser is actually not a natural phenomenon that occurs naturally. Originally the geyser accidentally digs wells in 1964 to explore geothermal energy sources. When the wells had to be closed again, it seems closure effort is not going well. Mineral wells began spitting constantly. The minerals accumulate around the geysers and eventually settles into the growing mound of travertine.
With the permission of the owner, anyone can enter the Fly Ranch area, and witnessed the uniqueness of Fly Geyser. Some visitors claimed tariffs as high as 50 dollars to be able to enter the territory of Fly Ranch Geyser. Pretty expensive for an attraction only. Without special permission from the owner of the property, visitors can only watch the fly geyser of roads within quite far.
