A glimpse of the Aquascape concept that became popular in the late ’90s in Japan is similar to an aquarium, but has a different emphasis in terms of treatment. The plants used are actually ornamental plants that we usually plant, but have experienced adaptation to the habitat in the water. The plant undergoes a change in appearance as the leaves are smaller, thinner and smoother, and more pale color.
