Not like Ferrari, Lamborghini is a manufacturer who is confident in introducing supercar with AWD drive. But post-facelift Gallardo, they consider that the RWD variants seemed to satisfy the consumer. Starting with the launch of the Gallardo LP550-2 Valentino Balboni with RWD drive as a special edition, hereinafter appear Gallardo LP550-2 with RWD system to accompany Gallardo LP560-4 that use AWD system.

It looks like the Gallardo successor, namely 2016 Lamborghini Huracan RWD will follow in the footsteps of its predecessor. For now, it is only in the Huracan LP610-4 variant alone, and the number 4 means using 4-wheel drive / AWD, but tomorrow rear-wheel version reportedly ready to present to enliven a variant of Huracan.

Lamborghini boss, Stephan Winkelmann did say during the event at Pebble Beach last year if they are interested in setting up Huracan using rear-wheel drive only. They have not been willing to inform further, but the present is the latest announcement that Huracan has been revised.

2016 Lamborghini Huracan RWD experienced some improvements which are embedding cylinder deactivation system technology at Huracan coupe to save fuel consumption, as well as re-program its AWD motion to reduce the symptoms of understeer, especially in the Strada mode.

According to Autocar, the Los Angeles Auto Show will be the land where 2016 Lamborghini Huracan RWD  revealed itself for the first time before it is ready for sale in 2016. If the same strategy as Gallardo, then maybe its name was Huracan LP600-2. Interestingly, the price of Huracan RWD is claimed to be more expensive than AWD. How come?

Because according to rumors, in addition to the motion system changed, there will be a number of other changes and claimed only be produced in limited quantities. So, if you want 2016 Lamborghini Huracan RWD, should come out a lot more money than from Huracan AWD? Yes, this is called “charging more for less”, which is sometimes incomprehensible logic. What do you think?
