Phoenix Tower in China will be the Tallest Building in the world

Phoenix Tower is a skyscraper designed by Chetwoods Architects, a company based in England. The building is said to be higher than the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, the tallest building in the world today. With a height of 1 kilometer, two Phoenix Tower is built in Wuhan, capital of Hubei, central China, will be the highest in the world. The tower is targeted to be completed between 2017 to 2018.

The tower has a futuristic design and will be very environmentally friendly. And interestingly, this skyscraper will be painted with the color pink.  The plan, the tower will stand 172 meters higher than the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. But so far, the project is still awaiting final approval of the Chinese government. With a population of 9.7 million in 2012, which is located in Wuhan Yangtze River is a major transportation hub in China, which is often dubbed the “Chicago of China”.
