Jaguar E-Type was produced between 1961 and 1975. The car is designed to combine beautifully, high performance, and competitive price. Most of the car at the time had drum brakes and the performance was mediocre, but the E-Type equipped with disc brakes, coil spring independent suspension at the rear, steering, monocoque construction, and looks unparalleled in its time. Jaguar E-Type was based on its brother who drove on the racing circuit, Jaguar Type-D. For speed, the car can reach a top speed of 150 mph. Jaguar E-Type Series 1 produced as many as 38 419, and is then replaced by the Jaguar E-Type Series 2 in 1968. The Jaguar E-Type is believed to be an important milestone in the history of British car design.
