2016 Yamaha MT-10, The R1 Naked Version Has Introduced

Yamaha introduced their latest naked bike based on the Yamaha R1, the 2016 Yamaha MT-10 at the exhibition of EICMA 2015 in Milan, Italy. As a new family of MT series, the naked version of the Yamaha YZF-R1 uses the same chassis and engine, but has a different setting and fixtures.

Various other MT series models, such as MT-125, MT-03, MT-07, MT-09, a new model with a capacity of up to 1,000 cc engine is claimed to be more simple and practical for use in urban streets. As a model that will have a production version, the motorcycle is equipped with a crossplane-crankshaft of R1 customized with cruise control.

The 2016 Yamaha MT-10 is the third product from Yamaha that goes into super naked class after Suzuki GSX-S and Kawasaki Z1000.

2016 Yamaha MT-10 is getting CP4 crossplane crankshaft inline 4, with a capacity of 998 cc of R1 are reset from 205 HP to power of 160-170 HP to compete with the BMW S1000R. Available with Yamaha D-Mode system, and 3 modes of traction; Standard, A, and B. Mode A is for sporty controlling, fierce in the lower-medium RPM, while the “standard” is used for a leisurely stroll or touring. While the mode B, used in jams or slippery roads.

For now the 2016 Yamaha MT-10 is only available in the European market with the launch scheduled for the end of May 2016. It has three colors, Tech Black (black), Race Blu (blue), or Night Fluo (blend).
