Subaru America has just introduced the latest version of the 2016 Subaru XV Crosstrek. This car get a change like the grille, fascia, bumper, headlights, ground clearance of 8.7 inches, rim 17 with a unique design and technology features Blind Spot Detection, Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. Comes with prices starting at $ 21.595 for Crosstrek 2.0i models.

In this latest version comes in two models, the petrol engined version and a hybrid version, which is equipped with BOXER engine and Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. Petrol models come with a 2.0-liter boxer engine capable of producing 148 HP and combined with 5-speed manual transmission or Lineartronic Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT).

2016 Subaru XV Crosstrek comes with a new front fascia, headlights and grille with a hybrid version will get a gloss black finish on the grille. Petrol models get 17-inch alloy rims. In the interior of the 2.0i petrol variants, comes with premium orange stitching on the armrest, center console and the gear lever is also a new design on the steering wheel. As for the version 2.0i Limited and Hybrid Touring get a dashboard with silver trim and gloss. All models get LED lighting on the center console below the radio, also with Keyless Access with the Start button and PIN Code Access.

To ensure safety, 2016 Subaru XV Crosstrek comes with two StarLink packages, first StarLink Safety Plus package including Automatic Collision Notification, SOS Emergency Assistance, Enhanced Roadside Assistance, Maintenance Notifications, Monthly Vehicle Health Report and Diagnostic Alerts. The second package is Starlink Safety Plus & Security Plus Package, including Stolen Vehicle Recovery Service, Vehicle Security Alarm Notification, Remote Lock / Unlock, Remote Horn and Lights and Remote Vehicle Locator.

The Hybrid version comes with a 2.0-liter Boxer engine with a higher compression ratio (10.8: 1) compared to the standard model (10.5: 1) which is equipped with exhaust gas regeneration (EGR) system with EGR cooler.
