Several times leaked from the 2016 KTM 1290 Super Duke GT have emerged to tempt the public with a cool charm. But recently the company has officially released the new motor in the event of EICMA in Milan.
This 2016 KTM 1290 Super Duke GT will carry the 1301 cc V-Twin with a new cylinder head. Combustion system was revised and a new ignition map to make it more manageable in a relaxed touring scenario. The engine has 173 bhp and 106 lb-ft of torque.
Largely based on the Super Duke R. This 2016 KTM 1290 Super Duke GT retains strength and a strong character, but to be more environmentally friendly. This bike is blessed several features including the ‘assistance’ of the standard package of 1290. There was also a ‘Stability Control’, swichable ABSM and there is an optional Hill Start Assist.
Cool, is not it? Unfortunately KTM is still reluctant to divulge information regarding the price.
