2015 Hyundai Sonata Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) has been announced. The south Korean electric car is claimed to have several advantages. In its official statement, 2015 Hyundai Sonata PHEV has an aerodynamic look. In this Hybrid model, the lighting also improved and has a touch of chrome on some trim.

Changes to the interior is not too significant, but centered on the instrument cluster and some parts of the revised dashboard. 2015 Hyundai Sonata PHEV is carrying a 2.0-liter GDI engine, 4-cylinder and has a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 9.8 kW and is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission and an electric motor.

With these machines, 2015 Hyundai Sonata PHEV is capable of producing 202 bhp of maximum power and if you rely on the electric motor alone, the car can go as far as 35.4 km. When the battery runs out, then the owner can fill it back in time for 2.5 hours with an electric current of 240 volts or for 5 hours using 120 volt current.

The plan, the 2015 Hyundai Sonata PHEV will be launched at the end of this year and will be available in a few cities in North America. For the price, Hyundai has not released it.
