Yamaha R1 special edition to celebrate 60 years of production and cutting-edge designs have been introduced, the name is “Yamaha YZF-R1 60th Anniversary Edition“. Windiest street motorcycle that would expand the spirit of Yamaha to deliver products that meet consumers’ expectations for years.

This Yamaha YZF-R1 60th Anniversary Edition uses iconic color, the combination of yellow, white, and black sporty, integrated in plaid are often called speed block design. Not only the color of the body, Yamaha also include special Akrapovic exhaust.

“The YZF-R1 60th Anniversary model is dedicated to the legendary rider and motorcycle from Yamaha that has won the championship race in the past,” it wrote in Yamaha’s official release. (18/09/2015).

This model was immediately shown in public in the Bol d’Or race held at the Paul Ricard Circuit, Le Castellet, France.

The plan, Yamaha will start selling this special model in December 2015, including with other colors Blu Race and Racing Red, with different graphics.

The same day, Yamaha also introduced new colors and graphics to model R6, R3, and R125 for Europe, signifies a total commitment in the Supersport segment.
